Dan’s career as a writer started in the Midwest, where he called several ad agencies home before finally settling in New York City. Soon afterward, his work on the famous "Got Milk?” campaign earned him recognition from the Cannes International Advertising Festival. It was also featured in two best-selling books about the Milk Mustache phenomenon.

The move to New York City also allowed Dan to pursue his passion for comedy. Which resulted in an 18-year run as a freelance monologue writer for The Late Show With David Letterman. His credits as a freelance comedy writer also include The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, CNBC’s Dennis Miller and SNL’s Weekend Update.

Dan currently resides in suburban New York with his wife and two kids where he continues to balance a double career as a comedy writer and ad guy.
